Mom's Prayer Group Fellowship Breakfast

Remember to join us on Tuesday the 12th for our first MDO Prayer Group! I'll bring a little "yummy" and make sure the coffee is made! Beverly Wilson (Sean's Mom) and Amy Stevens (Lila's Mom) have so generously volunteered to "head up" our group. I look forward to seeing what they have up their sleeves! The group will be gathering in the church Narthex after dropping off the kids. We will start around 9:30 or so. You all are welcome to stay as long as you feel led, but I'll skip out and help my teachers around 10:00. Again, I am looking forward to spending this time with you!

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES!

Sorry Guys, but my computer is acting VERY ugly! I wanted to download some more bus photos and pictures of our "magic" pumpkins, but I keep getting disconnected! Bummer! I'll be out of town all weeked. HORRAY! But, I promise to take care of that when I get back, probably after MDO on Tuesday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

CONGRATULATIONS!

We would like to give a big shout out to Gracie Penna in Ms. Cindy's class who is the proud big sister to Liam George who was born on Monday, September 27! He weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz and was 21 inches long. Mom, Dad and baby are doing great! We look forward to seeing the baby soon at MDO!

First Day Bliss!

Well, we all survived our first day of the summer session and boy did it go smooth! The kiddos did a great job getting back into the routine; and our new kids did very well letting go of mom, too! Only a few tears were shed - moms and babies, but everyone ended up having a great time!

Sadly, Ms. Brenda was out sick the first day, but Ms. Melanie kindly stepped in and helped with the elementary age group. You know, she first started this program 22 years ago and was director for 17 years. Wow, on my first day and I had to call in the "big guns!"

The kids managed the heat fairly well and enjoyed getting wet with the sprinklers. Unfortunately, our "blow up" swimming pool wasn't blown up yet, but they had fun anyway. Our huge cooler of ice water was a hit, too!

WE'RE UPDATING!

Hey Parents!! Welcome to our new blog - thanks to Amy Patrick for helping with all of our "media" needs!! I have been very busy getting things organized and ready for our summer session. If your child is enrolled for the summer program, you should have received a "Welcome Letter" in the mail this week. If you didn't please let me know so I can make sure your child wasn't "lost in the shuffle!" I will be updating this blog frequently with information about what is going on at school. . . Communication reasons as well as fun stuff, too - so check back often! I will also be asking your permission to post photos - I am the photo queen - so you can see your little kiddos in action at school! I can't wait to get started!!
